The Rotary Club of Nairobi Thika Road held a successful handover event at Birisha Primary School, marked by a range of impactful activities aimed at enhancing education and promoting environmental sustainability.
The event was graced by the presence of District Governor Wairimu Njage and the District Service Chair Rose Chege, adding significance to the occasion.

Key activities included the launch of a computer laboratory. The fully equipped computer lab will open new digital learning opportunities for the students. A generous donation of books was made to support the school's learning resources and encourage a culture of reading.
In addition, an inspiring mentorship session was conducted, where students received guidance and motivation to pursue their academic and personal goals. There was also a tree planting exercise, reinforcing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability.
The collaboration between Rotarians, school leadership, community members, and distinguished guests ensured the day was both memorable and meaningful.
