Rotaract Clubs at the Kenyan Coast had the honor of hosting a fellowship with District Governor Wairimu Njage. The interactive session provided an inspiring platform for members to connect, learn, and strengthen ties with Rotary leadership.
The District Governor shared her insights on the value of service, leadership and collaboration within the Rotary family. She highlighted that Rotary provides mentorship, guidance, and vast networks, while Rotaract brings youthful energy, innovation, and fresh ideas. By working together, both Rotaract and Rotary clubs leverage their strengths to create sustainable community impact.
This is in addition to getting access to professional networks, mentorship, leadership development, and the ability to initiate large scale service projects. Other benefits include innovation, inclusivity, youthful energy, and grassroots engagement with communities, gaining new perspectives and a strong pipeline of future leaders in Rotary, while Rotaractors gain exposure, mentorship, and support to scale their initiatives.
DG Wairimu commended the clubs for their dedication to service, and encouraged members to remain innovative, inclusive, and service-driven. The fellowship ended on a high note with members feeling inspired, better connected, and motivated to pursue impactful initiatives throughout the Rotary year.
