The Rotary Club of Mombasa Downtown has been working to restore the Bombolulu Education Centre by improving their infrastructure and supporting the students welfare.
They have expanded from 3 classrooms to a two-storey building, now hosting 105 Junior Secondary students (Grades 7–9). Completion of the second floor by August 2025 will prepare the school for Senior Secondary admission in 2026.
Phase 2 Implementation
Working with partners locally and internationally they have also provided schorlarships for students till they finish secondary school, meals, uniforms, shoes, and ICT/entrepreneurship training, with a focus on supporting underprivileged learners holistically.
