The project aims to engage the local community and other stakeholders in environmental conservation, laying emphasis on river ecosystem protection, restoration, and regeneration of Osinoni Springs which drains into the Isiolo River by planting 5000 tree seedlings.

To ensure the seedlings planted are secure this project began with enclosing the target areas with thorny bushes as a fence, not only to keep people away but also livestock. The project has so far seen 300 tree seedlings planted and will be taken care of until it rains, community volunteers have given a small token to water the seedlings and so far almost 2 months after planting the survival rate is 100%. The club is currently planning for a major tree planting activity within this area during the October rains. The project is funded with 21,000 KES contribution from club members and in partnership  with KWS Isiolo - through their Community Scouts will ensure no human activities interfere with the seedlings planted; Osinoni Kenya,  Action Aid Kenya - provided solar panels to pump water to water the seedlings; Rotaract Club of KeMU IF, Tiriji Foundation and Osinoni Day Secondary School.
