Ngoliba Community Learning and Resource Centre in the department of Adult and Continuing Education Ministry of Education is assisting members of the community who drop out of school to sit for KCPE and KCSE. The Centre also offers part-time vocational training empowering the community with basic literacy in computer skills, hair and beauty, baking and pastry, mats, and bag making.

During International Literacy Day celebrated on 8th September, the Centre partnered with Rotary Club of Thika, ANYEP, Watoto Wenye Nguvu Children Home, and Dot International to facilitate the graduation of 52 learners. 52 people graduated with various skills; hair and beauty, baking and pastry, mats and bag making, basic literacy in computer skills, and how to leverage the use of digital tools to take the business to the next level empowering them to generate income in the comfort of their homes. The project also gives hope to those who have dropped out of primary and secondary schools as the Ngoliba Community Learning and Resource Centre gives them an opportunity to study and sit for the final exams - KCPE and KCSE and also learn basic skills to help them earn a living. The Rotary Club of Thika contributed KES 26,500.00 towards this project in partnership with Ngoliba Community Learning and Resource Centre, Watoto Wenye Nguvu Children's Home, Act Now Youth Empowerment Programs (ANYEP), and DOT Kenya International.
