On behalf of our District Governor and the editorial team, we wish all who are celebrating, a very healthy, joyful, peaceful and prosperous New Year 2015 where we continue to serve our communities and change lives. A special feature on this unique history and culture is out on our first blog in this issue for which we are excited for our readers to experience. September is also our Basic Literacy and Education month whereby we highlight the importance of the impact Rotary makes in improving literacy across its communities in an inspiring article that follows the journey of a great project here in our own District that achieved worldwide recognition for you to enjoy. September also celebrates World Peace Day on the 21st as one of the most important RI areas of focus of our time as we highlight important peacebuilding and conflict resolution initiatives that are being undertaken. This third issue is packed with interesting news, stories and exciting events that the District is undergoing for which we warmly invite our readers to enjoy and share with your members, friends and family.
